Leaders Changing Real Estate for the Better
Meet the team dedicated to building real estate experience that works better for everyone.
Tamir Poleg is the Co-Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Real, a role he’s held since 2014. Prior to launching Real, Tamir was the Founder and CEO of Optimum RE Investments, an investment firm focused on multi-family real estate and technology ventures. Earlier in his career, he held a number of leadership roles in organizations that spanned the real estate and technology sectors across multiple continents. He holds a BA in economics from The College of Management Academic Studies.
Sharran Srivatsaa serves as President of Real, a role in which he leads all aspects of the company’s growth, including agent attraction and education. Since joining the company in late 2022, he has overseen the onboarding of over 13,000 agents, translating to over 100% growth in the number of agents on our platform. In 2023 the total value of homes sold by Real agents increased to $26 billion, an $11 billion increase compared to 2022.
Sharran joined Real after two decades of business and operational experience across the real estate, finance and technology sectors. A serial entrepreneur and highly regarded thought leader, speaker and advisor, he has had five successful exits in 19 years, including the sale of Teles Properties to Douglas Elliman in 2017. During his six-year tenure at Teles, Sharran grew the brokerage from a single office in Beverly Hills, California, closing $300 million annually to 22 offices throughout Southern California closing $3.4 billion annually.
Immediately prior to Real, Sharran was Principal of Srilo Ventures, an investment fund that focuses on investing in and advising technology companies and operating businesses in the consumer space. In 2018, he founded Kingston Lane, a marketing software platform for real estate agents and brokers and Highland Prime, a private equity firm focused on helping leadership teams scale their businesses and exit. Earlier in his career, Srivatsaa held investment advisory and corporate strategy positions at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.
Sharran is a member of the Young Presidents Organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Luther College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University, Owen Graduate School of Management.
Pritesh Damani is the Chief Technology Officer at Real, where he has developed an industry-leading proprietary platform that streamlines communication and document management for real estate agents. In January 2021, Pritesh joined Real’s senior leadership team through the company’s acquisition of RealtyCrunch, a modern web and mobile app for home buyers and real estate agents, where he served as Founder and Chief Executive Officer since 2019. Pritesh holds a BS in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai and an MS in computer science from Pace University.
Jenna Rozenblat is the Chief Operating Officer at Real, where she’s responsible for overseeing Real’s day-to-day operations, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensuring the execution of the company’s vision. Jenna has over 15 years of operations, program management, and customer service experience in the real estate industry. She was named a 2024 Inman Future Leaders in Real Estate and a 2024 Rising Star by HousingWire.
Michelle Ressler is the Chief Financial Officer at Real. Since joining the company in 2020, Michelle has played a key role in Real’s rapid growth, including its listing on the NASDAQ, uplisting to the Toronto Stock Exchange and two acquisitions that expanded Real’s presence into the title and mortgage businesses. During this time, Real has significantly grown its agent count and seen improvement in all of its key financial measures.
Prior to joining Real, Michelle spent six years as the Controller for Canaccord Genuity Inc. (TSX: CF), a leading full service global financial services firm with operations in two key segments of the securities industry, wealth management and capital markets. In this role, Michelle was responsible for implementing robust global financial systems, improving operational performance, and creating corporate value. Michelle started her career in public accounting focusing on corporate tax management and audit for both privately held and public companies.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from York College of Pennsylvania.
Dre Madden is the Chief Marketing Officer of Real, where she is responsible for driving brand awareness, increasing corporate visibility and implementing a strategic roadmap to scale the company’s agent base. During her time at Real, she was named among HousingWire’s Marketing Leaders in 2023 and 2024.
Dre is a multifaceted marketing leader with over 20 years of digital and brand experience building and leading marketing departments at StubHub, OpenTable, and Rodan + Fields. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer for luxury-focused, technology-driven startups in Silicon Valley. She holds a BA with high honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA with a marketing concentration from Santa Clara University.
Alix Lumpkin is the General Council for Real where she directs the company in all legal matters. Lumpkin brings extensive knowledge of the residential real estate industry, having spent nearly a decade at Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders.
Lumpkin joined Lennar in 2013 as Associate General Counsel and was elevated to Deputy General Counsel in 2021. Prior to transitioning to an in-house legal position, Lumpkin focused on securities and corporate governance matters at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Holland & Knight LLP, both multinational law firms. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and J.D. from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law.
